Ross was a past participant in our Educational Talent Search program at Clarion and a graduate of Keystone High School in Knox, PA. Peace and prayers go out from ETS faculty and staff to his family, friends, and comrades.

"A U.S. Army casket team escorts the cremains of former Knox resident and U.S. Army Spec. Ross A. McGinnis to a final resting place March 23 at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington , Va. McGinnis died in Dec. 4, 2006 , in Iraq when he smothered a grenade thrown into his army vehicle. McGinnis’s actions are credited with saving the lives of four other soldiers."
